Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of techniques do you use?

My work is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy — two evidence-based approaches that are highly effective at creating real, lasting change.

But I firmly believe that no single method works for everyone. You are not a checklist, and your care shouldn’t be either. That’s why I take the time to truly listen — to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and goals — and build a personalized treatment plan designed specifically for you. Whatever you bring into the room, we’ll find the approach that fits.

What can I expect working with you?

From the moment you arrive, you can expect a warm, calm, and welcoming environment where you are free to show up exactly as you are — no masks, no judgment, no pressure.

I believe in meeting you with honesty as well as compassion. That means I will celebrate your progress, and at times I may gently challenge you — but always with one purpose: to help you step into the fullest, most empowered version of yourself.

My deepest hope is that you leave every session feeling a little lighter, a little stronger, and more equipped to face whatever life brings your way.

What payment methods  and insurance do you accept?

I believe that access to quality mental health care should be as stress-free as possible. That’s why I accept a variety of insurance plans and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), as well as private pay options — so we can focus on what matters most: your healing.

Not sure what works best for your situation? I’m happy to walk you through your options. Contact me today for a free 15-minute consultation and we’ll find a path forward that works for you.

How long is therapy?

Every healing journey moves at its own pace — and that’s perfectly okay. Individual sessions typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs and the type of service.

As for the overall length of your therapeutic journey, there is no universal timeline. Some clients find meaningful resolution in a matter of months, while others choose to continue their growth over a longer period. What matters most is that the pace feels right for you.

We’ll regularly assess your progress together and adjust your plan as needed, ensuring that your time in therapy is always purposeful and moving you forward.

Do you offer services in person or via Telehealth?

I offer both in-person and telehealth services to make care as accessible and convenient as possible.

• Georgia clients have the flexibility to choose between in-person or virtual sessions — whichever feels most comfortable for you.
• North Carolina clients are currently served through virtual sessions only.

If you choose telehealth, you can feel confident that your sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal — accessible from the comfort and privacy of your home or any safe environment of your choosing. Telehealth also offers greater scheduling flexibility, making it easier to fit sessions into your busy life.

Wherever you are, quality care is within reach.

Where are you located?

My office is conveniently located in Scottdale, Georgia — a welcoming suburb just outside of Atlanta. The office is situated in a secure, professional setting with free parking, making your visit as easy and stress-free as possible from the moment you arrive.

For those outside the Atlanta area, telehealth options are available so that distance is never a barrier to getting the support you deserve.
